Insurance and Billing

Dental Insurance is an awesome benefit to have, however it’s important that patients understand that Dental Insurance is very different from medical insurance and has a very complicated set of restrictions with each and every plan. It is also important to remember that your dental insurance plan is a contract between you and the insurance company that has been negotiated by your employer and the insurance company.

Our office accepts most PPO insurance plans.  Please call our office prior to your first visit to give us your insurance information and we can provide a VOB (verification of benefits) during your initial visit, our Insurance Coordinator will review your plan benefits and assist you in obtaining the maximum insurance benefit from your plan.

Our office policy regarding insurance is one that is of mutual benefit to the patient.  We will file your claims and collect your co pay and deductible at the time of service.  We will follow up with your insurance company to make sure that your claims are paid within a 45 day time frame.  If for some reason, the insurance fails to pay your claim, the financial responsibility will then be billed to the patient.  Our office will continue to assist you in pursuit of payment from the insurance company.
